Guest speaker: Anna Rankin (NZ Badminton)

Anna grew up in Invercargill and started playing badminton when she was 11. She went on to represent NZ at the World Junior Championships in 2007 and debuted for the NZ senior team here in Invercargill in 2009 vs Australia. Since then she has competed in two World Championships as well as the Delhi and Glasgow Commonwealth games, where she reached the quarter finals. After spending the last 3 years overseas in Malaysia and Denmark, Anna has returned to Invercargill and is working as a Physiotherapist at Prohealth.
